The easiest way is to open the Windows 10 Game Bar and click on the Disable button next to the Microsoft gaming overlay setting. One you might want to change immediately is the screenshot shortcut, especially if you own a Surface tablet which has no PrtScn button. You can also customise the shortcuts to your liking. There are lots of settings, but the first is an on/off toggle for Game DVR. Just type Xbox in Windows 10’s search box in the taskbar to launch the app. Under the Gaming tab, go to Game Bar, turn on Record game clips, screenshots, and broadcast using Game. To enable it, launch the Xbox app and click on the settings icon at the bottom of the left-hand menu. Be sure that record game clips, screenshots and broadcast using Game bar is. Tapping it when it’s live automatically saves the last 30 seconds of gameplay, just as with the Xbox One. Click on the gaming icon in the settings app and it will open game bar section. You’ll notice that one of the icons on the Game Bar is greyed out – the Game DVR icon.
